Каждое из отделений амбулаторной хирургам (палаты непродолжительного послеоперационного наблюдения) должно собирать и анализировать сведения о результатах и тенденциях своей работы. Это позволит исправить возможные дефекты, наметить пути улучшения работы и повысить се качество. Подобный проспективный анализ в значительно большей степени способствует совершенствованию стратегии сяужбы, чем непосредственная реакция на конкретные неудачи. Ои позволяет стандартизировать и улучшить работу отделений, сводя к минимуму вероятность неблагоприятных последствий.
